Doug Flaig is the CEO of Stratus Building Solutions, a pioneering green commercial cleaning franchise with more than 4,000 units across North America. With over two decades in multi-unit franchise operations, Doug is known for purpose-driven and servant leadership, and a relentless focus on customer-centric innovation.

His career spans leadership roles with nationally recognized brands, including Dunkin’ Donuts, Burger King, 7-Eleven, and Wetzel’s Pretzels, where he oversaw hundreds of franchise locations and built a reputation for operational excellence. He also spent six years in the telecom sector managing infrastructure teams and later served as COO of Safe Facility Services before joining Stratus.

Since taking the helm, Doug has guided Stratus through record growth, adding 14 new master franchise territories and more than 1,150 unit franchisees in 2024 alone. Under his leadership, Stratus has been ranked the #1 Fastest-Growing Franchise by Entrepreneur for three consecutive years and remains in the Top 25 of the Franchise 500. By empowering teams, aligning strategies with core values, and embracing innovation, Doug continues to position Stratus as an industry leader dedicated to excellence, transparency, and the success of its franchisees and customers.

Rob Lancit brings 25+ years of franchise expertise to his role as Vice President of Franchise Development at Stratus Building Solutions. His experience spans nearly every corner of the franchise industry, including roles as a franchisor, franchisee, area developer, supplier, broker, and executive which gives him a comprehensive understanding of what drives franchise success.

Rob has helped thousands of individuals achieve business ownership and has played a key role in expanding franchise brands across both the U.S. and Canadian markets, as well as internationally. His global perspective and hands-on approach have made him a trusted advisor to brands and entrepreneurs navigating the franchise world.

At Stratus, Rob leads the company’s growth efforts by identifying and supporting high-quality master franchise candidates. His strategic mindset and deep industry knowledge are instrumental in driving the continued expansion of the Stratus brand.

Jotham Hatch joined Stratus Building Solutions as Vice President of Operations in July 2024, bringing with him a deep passion for franchising and a strong track record of helping business owners succeed.

Prior to joining Stratus, Jotham led operations at iNX Commercial Cleaning Solutions and served as Vice President of Training and Development at BELFOR Franchise Group, where he worked closely with the Chem-Dry brand to elevate franchise performance across a global network.

Based in Smithfield, Utah, Jotham is driven by a love for building smart processes, simplifying complex challenges, and creating meaningful support structures that empower franchise owners to thrive. He believes in leading with purpose, listening with intent, and always looking for ways to make a good system even better.

Mike Millett has led marketing at Stratus Building Solutions since early 2022, leading brand strategy, marketing operations, and growth initiatives.

Before joining Stratus, Mike spent decades helping launch brands. He has worked with pro athletes, attorneys, influencers, keynote speakers and e-commerce giants. He builds strategies that work.

He continues to guide Stratus through a full rebrand, AI disruption, and the chaos of modern digital advertising. His top priority is driving qualified leads, with brand development close behind to support long-term demand.

That drive extends beyond marketing. Outside of work, Mike is an advocate for those living with chronic pain and a competitive gamer known as ‘OB1,’ often teaming up with his grown kids. He believes success means elevating others, whether in business, in-game or in life. Mike always wins.

As Chief Financial Officer at Stratus Building Solutions since 2020, David Earl oversees all financial strategy, planning, and operations for the company. With decades of experience in corporate finance, accounting, and operational leadership, David brings a disciplined yet forward-thinking approach to managing resources and supporting the growth of the Stratus franchise system.

Based in North Hollywood, California, he partners closely with leadership and franchise owners to ensure financial stability, profitability, and long-term success.

As Vice President of Technology at Stratus Building Solutions since 2022, Arash Kolahi leads the innovation and development of the company’s technology platforms that power operational efficiency and franchise success.

Bringing over 20 years of IT experience to the table, Arash has a strong background in software architecture and a deep understanding of the unique needs of the Stratus franchise system. Since joining the company in 2015, he has been instrumental in designing and advancing proprietary tools and systems that support the brand’s growth.

Based in Chino Hills, California, Arash is committed to creating technology solutions that help Stratus franchise owners run smarter, more streamlined businesses.
